We Offer
Our culinary offer is based on traditional Slovenian dishes and put together is such a way that all guests should find something for themselves. We offer a wide range of possibilities; from cold starters, soups, hot starters, main dishes, to salads, deserts, cheese and fruit.
We also take good care of our guests with special nourishing habits. They can choose from a palette of Slovenian dishes adapted especially for them.
Random tidbits from our regular offer:
From the cold storage room we can offer a "Sebreljski zelodec" – Sebrelje stomach (pork stomach, stuffed with the best-quality pork and a bit of bacon), enriched with fresh cottage cheese with pumpkin seeds and pumpkin oil.
Your taste buds will be then warmed by a "Loska mesanica" (stew made with turnip, cabbage, beans, barley and sausage), once famous, today almost forgotten, delicious dish.
In a hot pan we offer fried calf's liver with water dumplings, just like our mothers or grandmothers used to prepare it.
For dessert you may try our, already well known, apple cake or baked cheese-filled pancakes. If we have not whetted your appetite yet we prepare "carski prazenec" - Kaiserschmarrn with a fruit purée.
Special offer
Additional to the regular offer we also prepare a special offer of dishes typical for that time of a year or special event or holiday. This is how we can always surprise our guests with something new, with one traditional Slovenian dish they have already forgotten about.
